Our Food Safety Team consists of our permanent, experienced employees who are trained ‘on the job’ and through additional external courses to ensure the appropriate high standards in hygiene, food safety and quality assurance are met.
Simon Home of Food Technical Support Services has worked with the company for over ten years on a consultancy basis and has witnessed, supported, and implemented many changes to our Quality Management System, production areas, processes and procedures.
UKAS accredited Nationwide Laboratories assist Dawndew Salad with our ongoing food safety and Quality Management System. Random samples of raw materials, work in progress and finished products are tested alongside our routine environmental swabbing. Nationwide Laboratories also audit the procedures critical to food safety, legality and quality and recommend any improvements accordingly.
